ELECTION AND VOTER INFORMATION
REGISTER TO VOTE
In order to vote in the August 23rd Primary Elections, you must be registered. You can register to vote online, by mail or in-person. The registration deadline for the Primary election is July 29th. Mailed-in registration applications must also be postmarked by this date and received by the electoral board by August 3rd.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Requesting an absentee ballot has never been easier. This can be done online through the NYC Board of Elections website. Applications can be submitted through the online portal, mail, email and fax until August 8. If you prefer to apply in person, you are able to do so until August 22nd at your local Board of Elections office. Absentee Ballot applications submitted by mail must be postmarked by August 23rd and received by the electoral board by August 30th. You can also deliver your ballot in person to a Board of Elections in your county by August 23rd.
EARLY VOTING
If you are registered to vote, you are able to vote early in the Primary election by visiting an Early Voting Site between August 13th - 21st. Click here to find your Early Voting Polling site.
